Join Our Team

We are an experienced and diverse group of people, who care about evolving and growing as individuals and as a community. So, if your values align with ours, if you can match our passion for people, and you’re willing to become an active part of a proactive and evolving organisation – we want to hear from you.

Our values guide us everyday

We believe in people.

We believe in their strength, willpower and courage. We believe in each other, in those we support and in our community.

We won’t give up.

We stand by our region’s most vulnerable people, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to get to a better place.

We activate change.

We are a catalyst for change, supporting small steps that lead to bigger transformations.

We’re better together.

We invest in our region and our communities. We’re serious about progress and take pride in our relationships. We work with an open mind and embrace new opportunity.

Available Jobs

“Some days are tougher than others, however, I find the job very fulfilling and it motivates me to make a positive difference. Despite facing challenges and having to deal with difficult situations, the positives far outweigh the negatives. I feel the job has not only allowed me to help others but also pushed me out of my comfort zone, allowing me to grow and develop personally.”

Tyne employees enjoy a range of benefits, including:

Support with Cost of Living

We’ve all felt the sting of the current cost of living crisis by now, which is why we have taken steps to help our staff during this time. In 2022, we made an early adoption of the April pay rise, as well as paying two cost of living payments to all members of staff. Other benefits include a minimum salary of the Real Living Wage, a Season Ticket Loan Scheme, and more!

Training and Development

Our belief in people isn’t limited to those we support. As a Silver-accredited Investors In People organisation, we have a variety of both external and internal training courses on offer, including our Leadership Academy (an accredited course designed to develop the next generation of leaders within our organisation) as an option available to all staff.

Health and Wellbeing

At Tyne, we hold a ‘Continuing Excellence’ award from the Better Health at Work programme, demonstrating our commitment to a healthy workplace where people are encouraged to be themselves. We offer all staff access to our Employee Assistance Programme (24/7 access to free, confidential support), as well as running a variety of health schemes including free fruit, access to health checks and wellbeing days.

Time Off

Tyne offers 26 days rising to 30 days after 5 years of service – including your birthday off! We understand that your work isn’t your life, so whether it’s making a doctor’s appointment or finishing early to watch your child’s first school play, we’ll do our best to make sure you don’t miss the important moments in life.

What it's Like to Work in Supported Housing

“Having the opportunity to support people in this way is the reason I do this job. I have worked alongside so many incredible supported housing workers, some of whom have been shaped by similar past experiences, and all of whom are passionate about improving people’s everyday quality of life.” – Emma, Supported Housing Worker
