We’re thrilled to announce a new opportunity for a young person to join Team Tyne as part of the Government’s Kickstart Scheme.
The Kickstart Scheme is run by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and will last until the end of 2021. It provides funding to create new job placements for 16- to 24-year-olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long-term unemployment, having been hit hard by the COVID-19 crisis.

Marketing & Communications Assistant: Kickstart Scheme
We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Marketing & Communications Assistant. The role includes both external and internal communications, helping Tyne to build its profile using a range of both online and offline marketing tools.
Terms & Conditions:
- Initial six-month placement through the government kickstart scheme with the potential to continue on into an apprenticeship programme and permanent position at Tyne.
- 30 hours per week across four days, Monday – Thursday.
- Salary: £9.50 per hour
