Administrative Assistant (Progression Team)

Tyne Housing Association Progression Team is now receiving funding from the Community Locally Led Development (CLLD) fund and immediately requires an admin worker to specifically support this project. The CLLD funding will end in December 2022 and for that reason this is a temporary post.

As a result of securing funding for an employability/Move on project we require a skilled admin worker to join our team and support us to get people to a better place in terms of securing employment and training.

The post holder will be based between our Progression Hub and St Silas Church Building in Byker and will work directly with Progression Team colleagues. The successful applicant will be able to discuss working hours with the Learning & Wellbeing Manager as there is scope for some flexibility e.g. working days and hours.

The main areas of activity for the post are:

  • General admin tasks.
  • Use of a range of ICT systems including Newcastle City Council reporting and monitoring programs (full training provided)
  • Collecting and collating personal data from participants before uploading this onto external platforms
  • Uploading a range of information including output reports
  • Supporting colleagues to prepare for a range of delivery sessions
