Systems and Business Information Manager

  • Salary £30,905
  • Location Newcastle
  • Status 37.5 hrs
  • Deadline 2 February 2023

An exciting opportunity to join our team at Tyne Housing and our charitable subsidiary Ouseburn Farm.

While confidence with information, communication technologies is important, it is equally important to be able to manage multiple projects to improve the way we use our systems, often with staff, customers and external contractors.

This role comes as a result of our Strategic Plan identifying a significant investment in our infrastructure. In particular, we wish to improve all of our systems so that our ‘back office’ services run efficiently and we can demonstrate the positive impact of our work in the community and on the lives of vulnerable people.

You will be responsible for meeting a variety of needs across a business, including improving our use of ICT and taking a systems approach to improve staff and customer experience. There will be system administration duties (for instance we currently use specific software packages for financial accounting, specialist housing management software, customer outcomes) and we seek to make better use of the data that this generates and develop our understanding of organisation impact.

You will need to take time to listen to your inspirational colleagues, develop ideas and solutions for the right processes and systems that will help them to deliver the best possible services – and you will need to use your experience and skills to manage multiple contracts and improvement projects.

You will be part of the Corporate Management Team and report directly to the Director of Finance, and will work at all levels of the organisation.

To support you in this role, you will manage an ICT Technician, who provides direct technical support to our staff, and will provide them with opportunities to develop their own expertise.

Our purpose is to help people get to a better place. If you think you can help us make a difference then we’d like to hear from you.
