Who we are

We’re here to help people get to a better place.

Tyne provides support, housing, healthcare and more for the North East’s most vulnerable people. Since 1973, we’ve been there for those who need us.

Our values guide us everyday

We believe in people.

We believe in their strength, willpower and courage. We believe in each other, in those we support and in our community.

We won’t give up.

We stand by our region’s most vulnerable people, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to get to a better place.

We activate change.

We are a catalyst for change, supporting small steps that lead to bigger transformations.

We’re better together.

We invest in our region and our communities. We’re serious about progress and take pride in our relationships. We work with an open mind and embrace new opportunity.

Putting People First: Our Strategic Plan

Over the course of six months, our staff teams from across the organisation came together to work on developing a new strategic plan that sets out an ambitious future for Tyne.

Engaging with our residents, experts by experience groups, our board of directors, wider staff team, partners and volunteers we followed an inclusive, in-depth process to ensure we are investing in the right places in order to have the biggest impact on those who need us.

Annual report

Last year we provided homes to 697 vulnerable people from across our region as well as supporting our communities to access specialist support, healthcare, training and more. Read our latest annual report to find out more.
