More than a roof

We’re far more than your average housing association, we focus on working with the individual in front of us to provide tailored support and opportunities. Our model of support is the framework that underpins this.

Created in partnership with our residents, colleagues and key stakeholders, our model of support presents a collaborative approach, built through learning, research, consultation and years of experience in delivering front-line services to those with varied and complex needs.

Housing

We have over 360 bed-spaces across the region made up of shared houses, specialist supported provisions, smaller shared flats and self-contained flats. Our housing model is always designed to focus on the individual’s own personal needs, meeting them where they are, building a trusting relationship and working together in partnership to get to a better place.

Wellbeing

Our wellbeing offer is designed so we’re able to provide support and opportunities to all, including those who don’t live with us. Our Joseph Cowen Centre in Byker does exactly that, run in partnership with Newcastle Gateshead CCG and Newcastle City Council it exists to provide drop-in primary healthcare services to those who are homeless and most vulnerable.

Community

As part of our commitment to supporting vulnerable and isolated people within the region, we invest in projects, places and communities in order to diversify our reach and strengthen our impact.

Learning

We’re passionate about enriching and broadening our offer, always aiming to provide opportunity for those we support to gain new skills, confidence and independence through a range of learning and training modules.
